The Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Cathedral honey is grown and harvested by California Beekeepers, as pure honey from bee to hive to jar. Collected from four varieties of plants, the honey nectar gathered by the bees creates an amber color of honey of slightly different shades for each: Sage, Wildflower, Buckwheat and Eucalyptus.

The sweetness, flavor, amber and liquidity of the extracted pure honey authentically characterizes each sort, and is a perfect addition to your cup of coffee or tea at any time and occasion.

Wildflower Honey is amber to dark amber in color with mild floral overtones. It’s very versatile and delicious in fruit and vegetable salad dressings, baked cookies and goods, and with appetizers.

Buckwheat Honey is a summer annual that blooms late into fall. Its nectar produces dark flavorful honey, which makes it a popular baking ingredient and an addition to barbecue sauces. It also pairs well with cheeses, grapefruit, and is a perfect tangy topping to deserts.

Eucalyptus Honey offers full health benefits, if consumed on a regular basis. Its medicinal properties include vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C, potassium, copper, iron and calcium, making it a perfect cure for coughs, stings and high blood pressure. The naturally high level of anti-oxidants in this honey protects cells from damage and oxidate stress with their anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties.

Sage honey abundantly grows in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California and the coasts, as the bees are attracted by its white flowers. It has delicate flavor, smooth finish, and light color. It derives from the Latin “salvia” which means “to heal” as it is known for its health benefits. If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor about Sage.

The honey is Blessed at the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Cathedral.

Try it for yourself selecting from delicious honey ambers, and share with family and friends adding a Gift Wrap option.
